Census Bureau , the ten whitest U. Interestingly enough, the northeasternmost part of the United States has the highest percentage of white people compared to the other white populations across the nation. The states with the highest overall white populations are California 28,, , Texas 22,, , Florida 16,, , and New York 13,, This is likely because these are the four most populous states in the U.
Most of it, anyways. While America is a mixture of diverse cultures and people with heritages from every corner of the globe, some parts of the US are clearly far more diverse than others. The results? Pretty much you might guess.
To determine the whitest states, we turned to the most recent ACS Census. Different parts of the country have different cultural and racial compositions. As you can see from above, some states have far less diversity than others. However, within many states are vibrant cities that offer more diversity than the surrounding areas. Vote count:.
